How did all of this knitting get started?

What started out as a simple I want to learn to do this is now an obsession.

I want to knit 24/7 and have tried, but find that I get bored even with that.

So I plunged in back in February right after my niece announced the impending birth of her twins.

I made two of these so fast, I became very ambitions about knitting more items for the new babies.

A Berry Hat!

It is from a free Ravelry pattern, which can be found at this link.

Knit in the round I found it was fairly easy with little additional guidance.  I learned after I made them both that I was knitting in the back of the stitch which explains why they look twisted.

I learned to knit in the round on short circular needles.

I learned to decrease using knit two stitches to gether and to move it from circulars on to double point needles.

I learned to make an i-cord to make the top knot.

This moved me to my next project.
